We empowered Guardian Sport to win in video, with a series of pre-game features for a must-watch Champions League match.

Guardian Sport were keen to enhance their approach to video. The Champions League provided the dream opportunity to step up their game. With Barcelona and Atletico Madrid set to go head-to-head, we created a set of pre-game features to prime football fans for the new El Clásico.

We stayed true to the Guardian brand, while bringing in the visual vernacular of the Champions League. The result? An ownable aesthetic, capturing the energy and vibrancy of the competition.
